These grants are designed
to widen range of creative writing, to uncover and foster talented
writers, and to help establish a healthy climate for literary creation.
Since the mail purpose is to foster new talent, these grants are
limited to writers who have been active for less than 10 years.
The jury will screen manuscrips of works not yet published and award
grants to writers whose works are judged to be of highest literary
quality.
Categories : Poetry (including Sijo)
/ Fiction / Drama / Criticism / Children's Literature
Selection : The grants are offered
to 2-5 years in each of the above 5 categories. Successful applicants
in the categories of Poetry, Drama, Criticism and Children's Literature
will receive 10 million
won.

/ Awards ceremony: late August
